"The fourteen songs on this album cover a wide range of themes and emotions, especially the love songs! They range from the hope of undying, eternal love all the way through to the disappointment of love lost. It was always obvious that a special singer would be needed to express the nuances and depth of feelings contained in each one individually and the collection as a whole.

When a mutual friend introduced me to Laurence and I listened to her recordings, I immediately knew that she would be ideal. Her stellar work on all the tracks reveal her artistry and empathy, her phrasing and beautiful tone. She has added her own touch to them all and taken them, as well as her abundant talent, to new levels.

Manu Martin had already worked with Laurence on two of her previous CDs, so when he came on board the project really took off! His musicality, ingenuity and incredible, multi-faceted ability brought the very best out of the singer and the songs. I could not have asked for more.

I hope this album will touch and move, motivate and uplift you. Life is good, and with joy in our hearts it can be even better.
